Union County, NJ Real Estate Primer
Union County is located in Central New Jersey. Its county seat is in Elizabeth. Union County is popular with home buyers because:

With more than 5,000 persons per square mile on average, it is one of the most densely populated counties in America. covering an area of 105 square miles, much of which is relatively flat and low-lying. The County offers various modes of transportation including rail, air, highways and a port.

Passenger rail service is provided Union County home owners by New Jersey Transit via the Northeast Corridor, North Jersey Coast Line, Raritan Valley Line, the Morristown Line and the Gladstone Branch.
The Elizabeth Marine Terminal is part of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. The Southern portion of Newark Liberty International Airport is located in Elizabeth in Union County.
